Helmets are among the oldest forms of personal protective equipment and are known to have been worn by the Akkadians/Sumerians in the 23rd century BC, Mycenaean Greeks since the 17th century BC,the Assyrians around 900 BC, ancient Greeks and Romans, throughout the Middle Ages, and up to the end of the 17th century by many combatants.
Low cut shell made of a Woven Aramid monolithic composite.
Tested to meet ACH specification; the NIJ Standard.
Performance Specifications: Helmet Performance Specification PS-0428; Modified and Abbreviated US Army Helmet CO/PD-05-04: 2007 Specification*; NIJ Standard: Modified and Abbreviated NIJ Standard 0106.01 Ballistic Helmets using NIJ Standard 0108.01 Ballistic Materials Level IIIA Threat (9mm 124gr FMJ RN at 1400 fps only)
Available in three suspension/retention combinations.
Helmets come standard with right eye dominant retention (buckle on left). A left eye dominant retention (buckle on right) is available for the Ops-Core Head-Loc 4-Point Chinstrap - H-Nape only, which can be purchased separately.
